   Some 150 citizens of the municipality of Cair showed interest in the problems facing their municipality.   Their will was expressed at the third session in the Community Forums Programme which took place on Thursday July 3 at the elementary school Rajko Zinzifov in Skopje.

   Ten workgroups established in the previous session presented concepts addressing the current situation regarding the issues highlighted in the session: communal services in the municipality of Cair; improving working conditions in the school Idnina; waste management; waste selection; work on the street from the hotel Kontinental to Plasticarska ulica; problems with the sewage system on the Metodija Mitevski street, no. 7; putting fences on parks in Topansko Pole; renovating the fence and the sports fields at the elementary school 7 March; as well as institutional access for people with disabilities.  
   The President of the Nadez (Hope/Shpresa) Association of the Disabled, Elvat Muharemi, who is a citizen of the municipality of Cair, said that this was their fourth participation in the Forum and their assignment was to develop a project concept.  
   “With this concept we envisioned to construct 4 access points to four public institutions in the municipality of Cair, to adapt the elevator, since the current elevator at the Bit Pazar hospital doesn’t meet the standards, meaning that people in wheelchairs cannot get in and go up to the floor, meaning that disabled people in wheelchairs are hard to get in” – said Muharemi.
   Asked how he would react if their project failed to ensure support from the majority, one pensioner from the Forum said: I would be very sad, but surely I would obey the decisionmade by the majority.
   The group of pensioners was preparing their own concept that included desiging a special place for pensioners, children and designing the park in Topansko Pole
   The attending citizens approved all presented concepts for further elaboration.
   Due to the summer vacations, the future session is set for September 11, and by then each group must develop a project proposal.
  The next September session will take place on 11th, at 6 PM.
