The Fourth Session of the Community Forums Programme took place on Friday, September 12, in the premises of the Penestia restaurant at the Culture Center in Debar, with participation of over 130 citizens of Debar.
At the session, 10 initial conceptual solutions were presented, as proposed by the ten groups.
Group 1 presented at the session the initial conceptual solution for the Designing of the Schoolyard in the Breshija kindergarten. This solution enables for the schoolyard to be used not only by the children in the kindergarten, but by other children from the town as well, and the proposed budget amounts to EUR30,000.
Group 2 presented the initial conceptual solution to the problem – lack of teaching aids and books at the Said Najdeni elementary school. The resolution of this problem would ensure a better teaching process at the school, the presentation stated, and the requested funds amount to EUR15,000.
Group 3 at the Forum Session presented the initial conceptual solution to the problem with the facade and courtyard of the Bratstvo-Edinstvo elementary school, asking for EUR58,000. Group 4 presented the initial conceptual solution for the start of the construction work on the building of the Zdravko Cockovski high school in Debar.
The presentation underlined that the amount of funding does not allow for any major interventions, but pointed out that something had to be done because the high-school building is nearly ruined. The requested budget amounted to EUR120,000.
Group 5 presented the identification of the problem and the initial conceptual solution to the problem with the heating at the Said Najdeni elementary in Debar, stating that the implementation of this project required EUR20,000.
Group 6 presented the initial conceptual solution regarding the lack of a sports hall. Two alternative solutions were proposed: one for a new sports hall, and the other for a balloon sports hall. The requested funding ranges from EUR70-90,000.
Group 7 presented the Outdoor Classroom project, for which certain infrastructural works would be needed, in the amount of EUR25,000.
Group 8 presented the initial conceptual solution for an entertainment park, estimated at EUR30,000.
Group 9 presented the initial conceptual solution for the establishing of a Youth Culture and Education Center, for which EUR50,000 would be needed.
Group 10 presented a concept proposal for alpine style climbing lessons for young people, and the amount of necessary funds for implementation is EUR25,000. The session was held in two languages – Macedonian and Albanian.
