 A total of 125 citizens of the Municipality of Kochani participated in the second forum session that took place on the 17th of December in the school “Ss Cyril and Methodius” in the Municipality of Kochani.

 Those present at this session determined eight groups of problems as sub-topics inside  the main topic chosen at the first forum session: Infrastructure in the city and the surrounding villages.
    The sub-topics, according the which working groups will be formed, are: Insufficient number of sports courts and facilities for the needs of the citizens of the municipality; Geothermal waters are not used; There is no object for the needs of citizen organizations and youth; There is inadequate athmospheric and fecal canalization and watersupply network; Poor road infrastructure; Insufficiently equipped education facilities; Monument – symbol of the city; and insufficient green areas on the outskirts of the city.
    As the sesion moderator, Igor Tasevski (representative of FOSIM – implementor of the Community Forums Programme in Kochani), explained, ideas and projects for solving the problems will arise from discussions on the chosen topic, while in the last seventh session the projects to be financed by the Programme budget will be chosen. 
    “The results of this forum are ready project proposals, and realization of the chosen projects and recommendations”, said tasevski.
    The municipal representative Ristaki Pantov presented the Municipal Development Programme for 2009, in order to inform the citizens which of their problems are not covered by the municipal programme.
    The total budget of the Community Forums Programme for the Municipality of Kochani is eight million denars, two millions of which are municipal participation, while six are a donation of the Swiss Development and Cooperation Agency (SDC).
