  Approximately 96 citizens attended the third forum session of the Community Forums Programme, part of which took place on January 22 in the hall of the Municipality Sveti Nikole, and another part on January 27.

  The session was divided in two parts in order to leave time for presentations and active discussion. The session included representatives of the education sector, social work center, municipality, business sector, NGOs, and youth over 16 years of age.
    The were welcomed to the forum session by the moderator and co-moderator in charge of the forum session in Sveti Nikole, who reminded the participants of the discussions in the previous session, and the rules of operation. They added that the funds for the Programme in the municipality were provided by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) with MKD 6 million and by the Municipality with MKD 2 million.

    The Forum session included a representative of SDC and the organization implementing this Programme in Sveti Nikole - the Center for Institutional Development (CIRa), as well as an expert from Bulgaria.
    This was followed by a presentation of the work of the three working groups, which initiated a discussion, resulting in the creation of seven new working groups that would work on draft concepts.
    In this cycle, the Community Forums Programme is taking place in seven other municipality in addition to Sveti Nikole, namely Bitola, Resen, Kocani, Novo Selo, Berovo, Saraj, and Dolneni.
    The next, fourth forum session, was scheduled for February 26.
