    The third forum session, attended by 103 citizens of the municipality Kochani, took place on January 29 in the elementary school “Sv. Kiril i Metodij”, where citizens identified draft solutions related to the topic “Infrastructural works in the city and surrounding places”.

  At the session, the working groups presented the reports on the problem groups, and found the following city problems to be of priority:
  Poor condition of the Nikola Mantov city stadium; Poor condition of the city sports hall; Insufficient use of the city swimming pool; Lack of a facility for stay in the mountains; Lack of a facility for socializing; Lack of green spaces in the outskirts of the town, in the surrounding villages and lack of a paved road to Dabot; Lack of a sanitary facility in the House of Culture in the village Orizari; Flooding of the Ivo Lola Ribar Street in Kochani; and Lack of fences and equipment in the education facilities. 
  For these problems, the Forum established 12 working groups, who are to make presentations on the conditions in the municipality in the next forum session.
  The total budget of the Community Forums Programme in the municipality Kocani is MKD 8 million, of which MKD 2 million are a contribution by the municipality and MKD 6 million are a donation by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC).
  The Forum process is open to all citizens in the municipality to jointly address certain issues and work towards acceptable solutions aimed at improving the everyday life of the community.
  In this phase the Programme is also being implemented in seven other municipalities - Berovo, Bitola, Sveti Nikole, Novo Selo, Resen, Dolneni, and Saraj.
