 The working groups presented a total of 12 project proposals and draft budgets, identified as priorities in the past few months by the citizens of this municipality.
 The goal is to include citizens in the process of identifying and proposing solutions to their everyday problems, with specific results through support by the Municipality and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC).
  In addition to the presentations, the representatives of the working groups underscored the objectives and rationale for the draft budgets, the share of the contribution requested from the funders, as well as their involvement.
  Group 1 stated that the project’s objective is to utilize the current natural park, and Group 2 presented the need for making the city pool available and open throughout the year.
  The third project focuses on refurbishing of the wooden floor of the sports hall, repairing lighting, reconstruction of toilets, etc. The presentation about the reconstruction of the city stadium mainly focused on reconstruction of the main field and construction of auxiliary fields.
  In order to ensure better development of Ponikva and create conditions for stays in the mountain, the working group presented the project budget divided by activities. For better air quality by means of increasing the number and size of parks, the working group presented the budget for parks in Kalimanova Glava and Usova Cesma.
 For better cooperation and socialization of all categories of citizens and better quality of life, the working group presented the budget of the project to prepare technical documentation for the construction of a regional retirement home.     
  Other presentations focused on the project proposals “Sidewalk construction on Roza Petrova Street” and “Paving the ASNOM-Orizari Street”.
  The working group for the project “Lack of sewerage in the municipality Kocani” presented the budgets needed to overcome the floods resulting from the lack of a combined sewer.
  The working group also presented the budget and activities of the project designed to increase safety of children during their stay at the school and kindergarten.
   “Adaptation of the facility designated for the Youth Culture Center” is the project proposal presented by the working group that underlined the need for a Youth Culture Center and for creating basic condition for communication between young people, municipal authorities, and the local community.
  In addition to Kocani, at this stage the Community Forums Programme is implemented in Novo Selo, Bitola, Resen, Berovo, Sveti Nikole, Saraj, and Dolneni.
