 Almost 80 citizens of Sveti Nikole took part in the seventh forum session of the Community Forums Programme, which took place on July 6 at the municipal hall in Sveti Nikole.
The participants in the seventh Forum, which has been going on in the municipality for the past few months, chose two projects as priorities to improve their everyday lives. They include - “Different Yet Equal” and “Stretched out hand”.
The attending citizens which have taken part in at least four forum sessions, had the right to vote according to working tables, that is one working table carried one vote.
The first project, “Different yet equal” got 24 points, while “Stretched out hand” received 22 points.
The total budget of the Programme in this municipality amounts to MKD 8 million, of which the municipality contributes MKD 2 million, and MKD 6 million are a donation by SDC. The project budgets are MKD 4,361,786 and MKD 5,633,249 respectively, and the rest of the funds are covered by the project holders and the partners.
In addition to the municipality Sveti Nikole, this phase of the Programme is implemented in seven other municipalities – Berovo, Resen, Bitola, Kocani, Novo Selo, Saraj, and Dolneni.
