The Forum coordination unit (FCU) manages the implementation of “Community Forums” Programme on operational level. In order to fulfill its obligations FCU needs a LOGISTICS ASSISTANT
This is a short-term position for 4 months with fulltime engagement of a person who will assist with the daily operations of the office.
Duties, responsibilities and output expectations:
The primary responsibility of the Local Intern is to work alongside the FCU staff in order to assist with the practical coordination and implementation of the “Community Forums” Programme.
In tight collaboration with the FCU staff, the PR Officer(s) and other stakeholders of the programme, provide support to the implementation of the Community Forums Programme:
• Provide logistical and administrative support in organizing meetings, field trips, events, trainings and conferences.
• Provide administrative support to the FCU staff and office including procurement, payments, taking care of office vehicle.
Qualifications and experience:
• Minimum high school education
• Some working experience necessary
• knowledge of English language and Macedonian language. Knowledge of Albanian would be considered an asset.
• knowledge of basic computer packages
• valid drivers license
• teamwork and communication skills
• flexibility
• ability to work under pressure and on tight deadlines.
The “Community Forums” Programme supports the process of decentralization at the local level by promoting citizens’ active involvement in the decision making process. The Programme is financed by the Swiss Development Agency (SDC) and implemented by partner organizations in close cooperation with local self-governments and in coordination with the Association of Units of Local Self-government (ZELS).
