Third session in Makedonski Brod

The third forum session in the municipality of Makedonski Brod, attended by 59 inhabitants of the municipality, was held on 16 December at the elementary school “Sv. Kliment Ohridski”.  The session presented an overview of the work in between the two forum sessions where the participants were able to observe three presentations of the reports from the three groups on the problems that were identified in the course of the previous session: -Road and urban infrastructure -Education, sport and recreation -Environment and tourism  The reports of the working groups were complemented with slides and pictures along with an overview of the problems followed by a discussion in which the participants were involved.  The working tables presented proposal solutions in accordance with the identified problems.  The priorities identified by the citizens within the frames of the main topic "Infrastructure development" read as follows: -Regulating the central town area -Construction of the river quay -Improving the conditions for hunting tourism -Asphalting of the streets and sidewalks -Improving of the infrastructure in the village Samokov -Construction of a sports ground and a parking lot -Cleaning of the illegal landfills -Construction of an annex to the Home in the village Zrkle  The working groups that were created on bases of these problem groups will inspect the field information and will present the results at the following, fourth session scheduled for 27 January.  In addition to Makedonski Brod, the Community Forums Programme also includes the municipalities of Aerodrom, Berovo, Radovish, Konce, Krusevo, Strumica, Mogila, Novaci, Gostivar, Debar and Bogovinje.
