Citizens of Debar choose the project Completion of Iliria Boulevard |

Completion of Iliria Boulevard is the project chosen by the citizens of Debar in the fifth forum session which took place on December 2, at the Penestija restaurant in the municipality.
Seventy-two votes, out of a total of 76 Forum participants, went to this project worth MKD 8 million, which is the amount of the project fund for the Programme in municipality Debar.
The Mayor of Debar, Argetim Fida, presented the citizens' proposals included in the 2010 budget, as well as the proposals that did not make it in the budget for the next year.
According to him, those proposals that will not be realized this year will be a priority for the next year, and for some there will be applications for international funding.
Some of the proposals will require a decision by the Municipal Council, and some are foreseen for 2010 with financial support from the Municipality, IPA funds or the Ministries, said Fida in the last forum session.
In addition to Debar, this phase of the budget forum also takes place in Berovo and Strumica. The Forum involves discussions and debates related to the drafting of the municipal budget for the following year, based on a predefined topic.
The budget forums take place in six forum sessions, and the last session - the following one - should report on the implementation of the projects funded by the municipal budget.
