Session six in Gostivar

The sixth session of the Community Forums Programme which took place at the restaurant “Dede Beg” in municipality Gostivar on 25 February was attended by approximately 80 citizens. The four project proposals approved by the Forum at the previous session were reviewed at this session. The first project proposal presented referred to the reconstruction and equipping of the kindergarten “Cvetovi” while the second referred to the arrangement and equipping of the yard of the kindergarten “Prolet”. The sustainability and maintenance was also discusses at the session. The presenters emphasized the fact that they will make efforts to organize activities (auctions) that would assist in generating incomes. The issue that was stressed with regards to the second project proposal titled “Tradition” was whether the work group is acquainted as to the permits required for a museum to be opened. Discussing on the topic of sustainability, the presenters stated that the income collected by organizing special events and attracting visitors will be allocated for the use of the museum. “European school” is the title of the project proposal with a specific objective of replacing 93 windows, 2 entrance doors, 18 interior doors and a support beam for the technical high school. The fourth project proposal titled “The Vardar Quay” foresees horticultural arrangement and modernization of the right bank the river Vardar in the municipality, and modernization and reconstruction of the left bank. The municipality is the carrier while the public utility is partner in this project.  The final part of the session was used to explain the voting procedure and the agenda for the next session.
