The citizens of Radovish and Konce selected one project Print E-mail

“Technical equipment for maintenance of the sewage network” is the project that was selected by the citizens of Radovis and Konce at the seventh forum in the restaurant “Sampion” in Radovish on 25 March.radovis_konce_6-web.jpg

 The last forum session that was organized as part of the Community Forums Programme was attended by 112 citizens of these two municipalities.
    The project was selected from a group of four project proposal that were prepared by the citizens of the municipalities as part of the intermunicipal forum which has promoted this type of cooperation for the first time in Macedonia.
    With a total budget of 9.851.000 MKD, the objective of the project is to improve the living conditions for the citizens of the municipalities Radovis and Konce by procuring two vehicles for maintenance of the sewage systems.
    The municipalities can utilize the two vehicles, a special vehicle with suppression system and tractor with high pressure tank, according to their requirements and problems.
The vehicles will be used to clean the sewage pipes, unclogging and draining of septic tanks as well as activities in inaccessible locations.  It is also planned to procure tool for equipment maintenance for which part of the employees will be trained in proper use and maintenance of the equipment.
    The donation of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) is six millions MKD, the municipalities Radovis and Konce participate with 2.865.900 MKD while the carrier and the partners participate with 985.100 MKD.
    In addition to Radovis and Konce, starting from last October the Community Forums Programme has been implemented in Mogila and Novaci, Berovo, Debar, Strumica, Bogovinje, Krusevo, Gostivar, Aerodrom and Makedonski Brod.
